Our Mission, Vision & History
Welcome to the Black Community Health & Wellness Association (BCHWA), where we are dedicated to enhancing the well-being of those of African descent and other minority communities through comprehensive education, robust advocacy, strategic partnerships, and resource distribution. Founded in response to significant challenges within the Nevada healthcare system, BCHWA aims to transform healthcare experiences for these often underserved communities.

Our mission is to empower these communities to achieve better health outcomes and reduce disparities. We focus on prevention, advocacy, education, and the direct provision of services, driven by a commitment to improve lives and foster health equity. Since our inception, BCHWA has become a pivotal resource, advocating for systemic changes and providing immediate support and education to improve health outcomes. We believe in the power of community-centered health initiatives and are passionate about creating sustainable change.

Join us at BCHWA as we strive to uplift and empower individuals through comprehensive health initiatives and culturally sensitive care tailored to the unique needs of our communities. Together, we are committed to creating a healthier future for every member of our community, rooted in the belief that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare and wellness resources.
