Dr. Mihajlovski is a licensed medical physician from Serbia, specializing in infectious disease prevention with a strong commitment to ensuring equitable access to healthcare services among minority communities. Her global career includes extensive experience across Africa and Europe, as well as in the UAE and Turkey. This broad international perspective and a deep passion for combating infectious diseases inspired her to pursue a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at UNLV School of Public Health, where she graduated as the 2021 Outstanding Graduate-an honor bestowed by UNLV President Dr. Keith Whitfield.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Mihajlovski played a crucial role in managing the UNLV Contact Tracing Team, which investigated over 46,000 cases in Nevada with a team of 250 contact tracers. Her outstanding contributions to public health during this time were recognized with several awards including the UNLV Public and Community Health Benefit Award, the UNLV School of Public Health Outstanding Graduate Award, and a Challenge Coin recognition from the International Association of Emergency Managers. She is a member of the Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health and the World Medical Association. In 2021, she was also commended by former Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak for her significant public service and research efforts during the pandemic.

Currently, Dr. Mihajlovski serves as a Clinical Program Manager with the CDC Foundation. In this role, she oversees the detection and mitigation of COVID-19 in confinement facilities under the Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC) Grant, and works on mitigating COVID-19 and other infectious diseases at the State of Nevada, Department of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH).
